EUROPEAN VOLUNTEERING MAGAZINE - COMENIUS PROJECT: REPORT OF THE ACTIVITIES

REPORT OF THE ACTIVITIES ON OCTOBER 2011

ROMANIA

- Organization of the Project meeting in Bucharest during 15 - 18.10.2011;

- Elaboration and administration of the project’s Blog;

- We contact the members of the NGO Provita from Valea Plopului (http://aoffr.free.fr/html/pv_particularitate_ro.html) - we began the first volunteering activity by collecting goods (food, clothing, footwear and toys) for the orphans there;

- Presentation of the school for the webpage and Blog;

- Articles for the e-magazine about the Profile of a volunteer?

- Designing and preparing the logo of the common project.

TURKEY

- Designing and preparing the logo of the common project;

- Presentation of the school for the webpage and Blog;

- Collaboration with a non-proffit organization "LOSEV";

- Articles in e-magazine about Profile of a volunteer.

PORTUGAL

- Articles for the e-magazine about the Profile of a volunteer;

- Designing and preparing the logo of the common project;

- Presentation of the school for the webpage and Blog;

- CLUBE COMENIUS has started. Students show interest and motivation during the sessions (twice a week – on Tuesday and Friday at 1 p.m). Here we prepare the activities to be held very soon.

SPAIN

- Articles for the e-magazine about the Profile of a volunteer;

- Designing and preparing the logo of the common project;

- Presentation of the school for the webpage and Blog;

- Teachers meeting to talk about our stay in Romania;

- Students meeting to talk about the project and to learn about our partners´ countries.

- We made a mural with flags and main cities of the participant countries.

- We made a collect of plastic bottle caps to help “El Club de Leones” Association, to get wheelchairs for disable children.

- We contacted the members of the NGO “ATAN” to talk about the protocol for our common activities

Volunteer Profile: Done with 5^th and 6^th level students

We sent the volunteer profile to Portugal

Logo Contest: Families and pupils work together to create a Logo for our project

Meeting with a Non Profit Organization Member.

POLAND

- Articles for the e-magazine about the? Profile of a volunteer;

- Presentation of the school for the webpage and Blog;

- Mobility for the project meeting in Bucharest - deciding on actions, meetings;

- Discussion- choosing and deciding on actions to be done at school. Making a list and terms of things to do;

- A feature of a good Volunteer- discussion and preparing the poster with pupils;

- Save the environment action- students prepared different posters with different sentences encouraging to protection of the environment. Later on the children, changed into trees, marched from school to the local library where the posters were left;

- Designing and preparing the logo of the common project (the logo sent to Spanish teacher).
